A central goal of Campus Total Defence is to make visible the national educational offering in all preparedness sectors, from basic to advanced levels, making it easily accessible.

A key objective of the initiative is to gather educations offered by all higher education institutions involved in the collaboration, to present a national educational offering that is accessible and inclusive of all relevant preparedness sectors, from basic to advanced levels. Through cooperation between academia, industry, and government agencies, Campus Total Defence aims to provide the total defence with the knowledge and expertise needed to address both current and future security challenges.

Campus Total Defence has been initiated against the background of the changing security situation in Europe, which has created an urgent need to strengthen Sweden’s defence capabilities.

Through this initiative, the country’s universities can swiftly and effectively contribute to rebuilding the total defence by offering relevant education, developing new research, and enabling innovation in cooperation with end-users.

Campus Total Defence is a collaboration where higher education institutions across the country will work together on strategically important knowledge areas, such as AI, crisis communication, and resilient energy systems.
