Project based advanced course in Soil Science at the Dept. of Forest Ecology and Management

This is a course where you get a chance to ?dive? deeper into a subject of your interest that relates to soil science. Here, students will work together with a supervisor to choose a relevant and manageable topic within the area of soil science. The project should be designed so that it can be completed within the available time (10 weeks) and generate a strong progression in the students? own learning.While students are expected to work independently, they will receive guidance and support from their supervisor throughout the process. Depending on the nature of the project, the course may also include lectures, hands-on exercises, lab-work, study visits, fieldwork, or reading assignments. Students will learn how to search for, analyze, and discuss information from a scientific perspective. By the end of the course, students will be able to present their work orally, well-prepared seminar format, all within specified timeframes
